Description
Giant Duckweed (Spirodela polyrhiza) is the perfect floating plant for people who are annoyed normal duckweed! Since it is the largest species available, it much easier to manage than normal duckweed. It seems more like a tiny version of frog bit. This easy and low-maintenance floating plant is great at removing nitrates from your tank water, and also provides coverage for tiny fish fry near the water surface.
You’ll receive a 4oz container of duckweed.
My Giant Duckweed is grown in a tank with NO pesty snails or obnoxious smaller duckweed varieties.
I harvest my plants the day of shipment. Please check your temperatures! If it is very hot or cold, it could pose a risk to the plants.
